Deleting a Marriage

Post by Hilohi »

In the Marriage section on the Family tab on one of our member's record, it shows her spouse's name and birthday. However, that information was added in error as this member was never married to that person. What's the best way to correct this? There's an option to "Change Marriage Status" and there's an "Unknown" option. Should I choose that option? Or would it be better to call Global Services and ask them to fix it since they were never married to begin with?

It would be better to call. Otherwise the record will show that there was a marriage that was ended, which in this case is not correct.
