Old Iphone doesnt go past ios 15 but I want apps

Im setting up my old iPhone 7 for my son. It doesnt update pqst ios 15. Most of the church apps now reguire a minimum of ios 16. Is there a work around for this? I want him to have access to the church apps.

If you already own the apps on your Apple account, you should be able to go in and download an earlier version of Church apps, that may or may not work with Church servers.

Otherwise, the Church website should still work fine, and you can download ebooks and pdfs of the Scriptures and General Conference talks off of there.
