Unit History - Sending invites (and re-sending?)

Post by danielarose »

The issue I've had is that I send an invite, thus generating a story, but then after I've edited the story it no longer includes the invitee as an author, just myself as the Ward History Specialist.
Additionally, once an invitation is sent (thus generating a story), is there a way to re-invite or invite others?
Or send an invitation for an existing story (that was not originally generated by sending an invite)?
Much thanks.

I ditto what danielarose posted. However, I have found out that those that I send invites to receive a "NO REPLY unit history" email invite that includes a link to the story . This link is enbedded inside the box that reads "Open the Story". When invitees click on this box they are taken to the unit history website, BUT the story they were invited to work on is NOWHERE to be found. For them it doesn't exist. I have had to instruct my invitees to click the home tab and click on the create a story button and go from there. Can we get the invite process resolved so that this process will work seamlessly? Reminder emails for those invites that are not started in a timely fashion would be great to have. Thank you.

You will have to submit your suggestion through the feedback link found at the bottom of the Unit History page. We can discuss it here in the forum but the decision maker(s) will most likely never see your post. The forum is primarily user-to-user discussion and collaborative self help and the decision makers seldom, if ever, visit the forums. The best official support and feedback channel for the general membership is through the feedback link found at the bottom of most Church web pages.
