LCR Down?

Post by sfairchild »

We are having issues logging into Leader and Clerk Resources since this morning on multiple devices and internet connections.

Is there an issue we should be aware of?

I'm having the same problem today. This happens quite often on Sundays when the Church's web server gets overwhelmed with traffic.

I don't believe the Church ever really makes us members aware of these issues, it's usually just a matter of continuing to try every once and a while until it's working again (and then hurry up and do your LCR stuff in case in goes back down again). For extended issues there occasionally are popup messages, but even then usually not. I think the post What to do when LCR is unavailable covers most important things, except for temple recommends which usually can wait if it's a Sunday, but sometimes might be time-constrained.

That said, yes it's a recurring issue, and yes it continues to be frustrating especially for those of us who live long distances from our church buildings.

LCR is acting up again today. As an east coast church that meets at noon eastern, I now spend my second hour doing clerk tasks instead of sitting in Sunday School or Elder's Quorum because LCR gets worse as the day goes on for us. I'm on the verge of leaving Sacrament meeting as soon as I take the Sacrament and do the head count.

Looks like it's having difficulties this morning. I tried to open the top-level LCR page, and it's hung trying to load.

We are also having the same issues here in Colorado. LCR was working earlier today, but became progressively slower by mid day, and is now not accessible.

I have been having the same issues and it is impossible to access LCR. This could be a worldwide server malfunction.
