NEW Public Ward Websites!
So excited to promote our local wards and ward activities. Where are the settings for this new view? Can we add editors? Is there a menu to find or look up these sights?

I've been trying to find ours, is there a way to look them up?

Re: NEW Public Ward Websites!
You could go to local.churchofjesuschrist.org and see if you can drill down from there. Or, you could try Google the name if your ward and add "site:local.churchofjesuschrist.org" to the end of the search.
Interestingly, it don't see any wards in my stake except for the YSA ward.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

From what I've seen, events are posted from the unit calendar. I'd start my search from there.
I don't know how much control anyone has over the page beyond the events.

Re: NEW Public Ward Websites!
Hello! I have searched high and low for any additional information on how to get 'ward websites' enabled for our unit (shawnee mission kansas ysa) as this would be very beneficial than us having to go down a custom route of a google page or some other web page. As a YSA, activities are critical to our members as well as friends and family that are non-members, so the ability to have basics of our church, what church is like, and list of all the activities that happen through the week with the ability to RSVP for ones that we need to know numbers - is HUGE!
If there is anyone from the Church's department monitoring this thread, please give instructions on how to enable this for a unit. The only mention I got was that a request to get ward websites has to be ran up the chain from Stake President to Area authority.
thanks!
Jason

I am also having difficulty figuring out what I am supposed to tell our ward clerks to do in order to get this up and running. I watched the General Conference instructional video on this new feature but there were no details. As a stake clerk I am not even sure if I have rights to see this. I would love for someone from the church to get on and help us know how to do this new feature.

I'm guessing that this option is being rolled out on an area by area basis, as I've followed the "Find Ward Web Page" video and nothing is showing here for me in the UK!

Re: NEW Public Ward Websites!
I did a search on 'shawnee mission ysa ward site:local.churchofjesuschrist.org' and I did get the building website but nothing for the ward website. This was the result: https://local.churchofjesuschrist.org/e ... ley-street
I have also requested our bishop to request from the stake president to request from our area authority to enable ward websites and activity sharing for our ward. Hopefully this is the route to get it enabled for us.

Re: NEW Public Ward Websites!
First off I want to say this is so amazing because now we finally have a churched approved and provided way of marketing our local wards to inactive the non members as these sights are public facing.
So there are two ways to get to your exact URL.
1. You can edit almost everything on the site by going to Reports / Unit Information / Unit Webpage Management.
2. When you add an event to your ward calendar you now have an option to "Make it Public" This will prompt you to add an image and it will be shared on your new ward website. https://lcr.churchofjesuschrist.org/act ... page-admin
