Unable to change phone number

I have changed my phone many years ago, it still has the old number when I log in. Need to change from (208)[removed] to (208)[removed]. I have tried many times to change the number without success. Need help.

Are you talking about the recovery option that allows you to specify the mobile phone number for account recovery? Or are you talking about your phone number associated with the "household" or even your personal "member" record? If the latter two, I don't think you can change it at all without contacting the clerk in your ward. But you can change the recovery phone number. I could be wrong.

"Household" number has gone away. I'm quite sure you can change your personal number in either Member Tools app or on the Ward Directory and Map web page. (There may be limitations if you're a child in a household.)

Account recovery number is different, but I think that tends to update the personal one. I'm not sure.

I'm not able to find the option to change the personal number anywhere in my settings in the Ward Directory and Map. The only place I do see it displayed is in the Visiblity->Personal Information section. But there is nowhere that I can see to change it.

Locate your household. You'll see your name listed below as a member of the household (even if it's just a household of one).

Click on your name under your address. (This is what I think you were overlooking)

Click pencil icon.

Ok, that's not at all that intuitive, at least not for me. The first thing I see when navigating to my household using the Ward Directory and Map is a pencil icon. if I click that, it let's me edit a bunch of stuff (none of which is my phone or address), but it seems like they should also include a link to the name and address directly from that pencil icon as well.

There's a hidden structure - Household and Individual. The key is to know that and to navigate to the appropriate area. I agree it's not intuitive. Particularly for Households of one.
