We received permission from our FMG to have a camera mounted in a ward meetinghouse if we purchase the camera. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good PTZ camera? 1080p 60fps and 20x zoom are what we are looking for. Something under $600 price range. The current PTZ camera that is installed in Stake Centers is about $1400 (Church's cost, I believe) Too much for our Stake Budget. Is there perhaps a page somewhere on what the Church recommends for camera hardware?
Thank you

Re: Camera Hardware
BYU uses some of the Aver Cam520 and Cam530 models which show up as a webcam over usb and can be controlled by the computer, an IR remote, or RS-422. Some of the Cam520 Pro models have ethernet and POE support and can stream RTSP and/or RTMP video.
The best value might be a Cam530, which has USB webcam/control as well as HDMI output. I see one on ebay now for $150 fully working with accessories.

Re: Camera Hardware
I know it's a bit over your budget, but the church's FM groups have been buying the Clear Touch RL-500 by the hundreds for new and upgraded installations. The church's cost is $1k each, which is a significant saving from their usual price. The advantage is full church support vs an off brand.
So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

Re: Camera Hardware
We have 2 of those RL500 cameras in our stake. They work great. They also support NDI video format on the network which is awesome. We have switched our broadcast workflow to use NDI video sources and use OBS Studio to control the program.
