Non-member receiving a calling in LCR
I am ward clerk, and I am trying to update a calling for a young woman in our ward. She has been called to serve in her young woman's class presidency, but she is not baptized. Is there a way I can assign her that calling in LCR? I have checked, and she is assigned to the correct class and all of her details otherwise are accurate.

Re: Non-member receiving a calling in LCR
Interesting situation. Looking though the Handbook, I'm not sure what her status would be.
Section 30.1.3 indicates that non-members can't be "organization presidency members".
Section 33.6.2 makes it clear she's not a "Member of Record". I'm not able to find a formal definition of "Member". But I'm guessing her status would be "Unbaptized member". The Handbook seems silent on the status of callings when it comes to unbaptized members.
Section 30.1.1 says "Before extending a calling to a young man or young woman, leaders obtain approval from a parent or guardian." Assuming such approval was obtained, I have to wonder what's preventing the baptism. Section 38.2.8.2 does say approval is required from both, but "Permission is not required from a parent or guardian who has no legal basis for opposing the baptism."
What we've heard before from a developer is that the "business rules" for LCR isn't made from developers reading the Handbook, but handed down from leadership.
I'm suspecting the short answer is going to be she doesn't meet the qualification to be a class president. You can call support to verify this, but I suspect that's what the answer is going to be.
