Help making temple appointment
I recently got my own endowments done and when I go to set up an appointment for proxy endowments it is telling me that I must be endowed before I can do that? How do I get the system to update to show I have my endowments?

You'll have to wait for the temple to update your membership record.
If you're trying to do this via Member Tools, you can try going into Settings and "Refresh Data". I'm not sure if Member Tools tries to stop you before going to the web page where scheduling is done.

It has been recorded on your membership record (same day as your endowment happened). I'm not sure where the appointment system checks for being endowed. But if it's a cache of some kind then it may need to refresh.

I'm thinking Member Tools may be playing gatekeeper and needs to be updated.
For the actual scheduling, Tools is just an automated web bookmark. It sends you to the same place as if you went to the church main page and selected "Temple Appointments" from the Resources link.

Thanks for reporting back. I'm sure it will help others that experience the issue.

So It is happening again. I'm not sure what is happening. I hope its because it was so soon that I did my living endowments but if it is an issue for others as well I would like to know and help them to fix it too.

Re: Help making temple appointment
The endowment ordinance should be recorded by the temple shortly after your endowment and then the information is posted to the Church Membership Information System CMIS. Once the ordinance is posted in this system you should be able to create appointments. This process should all happen almost real time. Even if you're trying to create the appointment through member tools the appointments application is outside of the mobile app and shouldn't be dependent on the mobile app being up-to-date. Make sure that you're phone is requiring you to log in once the browser on your phone sends you to the appointments page.
