I'm not sure if this is the best place to request this, but our ward has a serious problem of having location pins not match a member's address. Is there a way either to remove the pin on the Tools app or have the pin automatically update with a change of a member's address? Maybe even having a feature of removing a pin when an address is changed so at least it could show up on a list so someone could know to update it (it seems like anyone can update pins but not addresses). This discrepancy is particularly unhelpful when using the member map online; that area uses the location pins to show were members live instead of their address.
We have many older folks in our Ward who do not use the app and over 800 people on our rolls (so verifying that everyone's location matches their pin would be quite the project, let alone always verifying it when someone moves). I am not privy to why the pin even needs to be included on the app and website, but it does seem unnecessary when the address could just be used instead.

This behavior has been part of the map system since the beginning. Members can correct their own pin position, but often don't do so. The clerk (and likely other leaders) can do it for anyone in the unit.
If you want to report a bug or improvement, use the feedback link on most church pages. Members of the forum have no special access to those who set the developer's priorities.

If I remember right, pins will update when the address changes as part of moving to a new ward, but not when moving within a ward. I'm guessing the idea was to prevent resetting the pin when correcting the format of the address.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

But sometimes the pin drops in the wrong place, especially if the address is new and not yet in Google maps. It took over a year after I moved in before my house showed up on the church map (new development). The pin dropped several miles away from my address.
