Finance down
Is anyone aware of problems with inputting tithing and expenses in the finance portion of the LCR system?

Slow all day, and right as we got everything ready to submit it went down all the way. Unprofessional that we get no notifications such as acknowledgement of the issue or steps being taken to resolve.

Just for everyone's future awareness -- the Tech Forum is not connected to any of the official Church support systems, and virtually all Forum participants are regular church members like yourselves. Posting here can be helpful in the sense that you know "it's not just me that's suffering", but not much else beyond that. Many Forum members have similar church callings and experience similar frustrations about long-standing Sunday connectivity issues, and many have shared these frustrations with their Priesthood leaders multiple times. All to say -- we feel your pain, but not much we can do from our end.paulrow wrote: Sun Jul 27, 2025 3:11 pm Slow all day, and right as we got everything ready to submit it went down all the way. New Forum participants often aren't aware of the nature of the Tech Forum (primarily user-to-user discussion and self-help), so just want to make sure expectations are set accordingly.

I think it is therapy for all of us to commiserate together when you have almost all your donations in and then you get the spinning wheel of death...
And the system still is not working...

Re: Finance down
I made the drive in to church to print some checks for reimbursement for members on Wednesday. We were met with complete inability to access the documentation in the finance system to know how much the checks needed to be made out for. We have the instructions for manually doing checks and tithing because the finance system is frequently problematic and we've had to do both.
I've reported outages and the feedback is not useful. Our stake was having so many issues last summer the Stake President got involved and pushed it up the chain. Things got a little better for a time but it seems like they are regressing lately. Just think how much more local leaders in the church could do with a system that didn't constantly waste their time.
