I'm having difficulty in getting a satisfactory level of audio into Zoom when using NDI software in conjunction with our PTZ camera. I have gone into the MIDI interface and set up NDI for both input and output and have configured an Aggregate Device for Input and a Multi-Ouput Device for Output. I am using Black Hole 2ch as the third party input which is then folded into both the Aggregate and Multi_Ouput Devices along with NDI inputs and outputs. When in settings the input level is fine but then it seems to be attenuated in Zoom.
Audio settings in Zoom have Aggregate Device as the Mic input and it shows a low audio level. Switching things around hasn't seemed to help.
On the fip side, my Windows PC does NOT have this issue and if anything, overboosts the audio signal. However, it has had problems with not connecting to the PTZ camera after updates so I am hoping to have the Mac replace it if I can get the audio issue sorted.
Thanks in advance.

I'm a hardware guy, so I look at this from a hardware level. How are you getting the audio into each device? Is one laptop a "mic" input and the other a "headset"? Where is the audio feed coming from?
TRS/TRRS connections are a real pain as there's so many different audio standards that use the same physical plug. Just because the plug fits, doesn't make it compatible.

Re: Low Audio Output into Zoom When Using NDI Software with M4 Macbook Pro
For the feed, only one laptop is used at a time. I just happen to have both a Macbook and a Windows laptop.
The video and audio feed comes from the NDI interface with the ClearTouch PTZ camera via ethernet. The only hardware input is via ethernet cable which has both audio and video. I don't use wireless. Like I said, the Windows laptop just sets NDI as the audio input and then feeds it to Zoom without issues.
Apple makes it difficult because one has to use third party software like Black Hole and then set it up in the MIDI interface. When setting it up I get adequate audio levels on the Mac's Sound Set Up page but Zoom shows a very attenuated signal coming in to it. I've tried various input/ouput combinations without much success.
Also, I have no control over input or output sound levels once the NDI software is used. This is true for both Windows and Apple.

Re: Low Audio Output into Zoom When Using NDI Software with M4 Macbook Pro
The problem was solved by going into the NDI camera control website and boosting the input audio eventually to its loudest setting of 59db. I did go in increments of 10db starting from 20db and working up to the 59db mark. This resulted in Zoom's audio at satisfactory levels and surprisingly did not add clipping or distortion as determined by a participant on Zoom when testing the audio levels.
My main concern now is if I return to the Windows laptop that the audio levels will be too high. Further testing will have to be done or I can simply return the NDI output back to 20db if I use Windows.
