Finding Lost Members - Deceased

Post by typhon »

i have been reviewing the list of Finding Lost Members. I have found some that are deceased but am unable to report them as such.
The only thing I have been able to do is move their records to the ward where they are buried.
Is there another way to handle this?

Thanks so much!

If you have the record, what's preventing you from marking them as deceased?

the option is not illuminating.
even when i have their member number, the system will not display their info.

Is this person a member of your ward? I'm looking at the selection at the very top of your screen.

What about pulling them off the lost members list back into your ward and then marking them as deceased?

I would call the GSD and give them the information on the deceased person. They should be able to record that on the member's record for you. You will probably need a death date and place.
