TALL Embark app not loading Portuguese

I recently started using the embark app to study Portuguese, but about two days in, it stopped loading the content after sign it. It signs me in and downloads data, but then takes me to an empty screen with no content. The navigation buttons at the bottom show up but don’t respond when clicked on. The rest is an empty page. My friend who is also using embark to study Portuguese is having the same problem on his account as well. Please advise.
