Fast Offering expenses do not have recipient

Post by cjbeckert »

Before reaching out to the GSD, I wanted to see how wide spread this issue is ... or is it just me.

For the past couple months on the monthly LCR-F financial statements, our stake has had multiple units have Action Items on the Fast Offering Analysis tab for Fast Offering Expenses do not have a Recipient. Over 200 transactions popped up out of nowhere a couple months ago and continue to linger. Based on the symptoms, they appear to be caused by a software glitch.

All are invoices in the 2021 - 2023 range. All appear to be for Family Service billing, though its hard to verify the 2021 - 2022 invoices as they come up blank when the invoice number is clicked. Likely for being outside the retention timeframe. These Action Items only appear on the Fast Offering Analysis tab in LCR-F but do not appear as Action Items when printing the financial statement as a pdf. Other Action Items appear normally on both the LCR-F and pdf, such as returned missionary with a balance and check issued over 90 days.

When I first noticed it, I suspected it was likely a software glitch due to a LCR-F update at the beginning of the year. If so, I reasoned it should be noticed and cleaned up quickly if it happened system wide however, the issue still persists. Silly me for rationalizing.

So, has anyone else seen this issue pop up recently or did our stake just get plain lucky?

Yes, we have this issue as well. It is for a specific member where I know the expenses where listed with them as the recipient when I went through expenses several months ago before the issue popped up.
