How to copy and share a scripture link
How can I copy and send a link, to a scripture, that will open when clicked. Ex. Moroni 3:4. I’d like it underlined so it’s a link.

Re: How to copy and share a scripture link
Once you get to a chapter and select a verse, there is a vertical three-dot icon that opens a drop-down menu. It may be that in your browser that menu will let you get a link to a specific verse. It did not behave well for me in my browser.
This appears to get at least close to what you requested, at least for a single verse:
- Go to the Church main page: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng
- From the header menu, select Libraries -> Scriptures
- Select a volume (Book of Mormon, for example)
- Navigate to the chapter you want
- Manually edit the URL:
- - Remove anything that looks like "?lang=eng" (without the quotation marks) from the end
- - Add something that looks like this to the end: ?id=p4#p4
- - <Enter> to go to that URL
For example, this is the URL for Moroni chapter 3: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/stu ... 3?lang=eng
This URL will give you Moroni 3:4 highlighted: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/stu ... g&id=p4#p4
The '?' begins the query parameters. The '=' separates the name of the query parameter from the value. Each '&' starts a new query parameter. You want to add a query parameter of 'id' with a value of "pN#pN" (without the quotation marks) except with the verse number instead of 'N'.
