Our ward recently began sending birthday cards to every member in the ward. One result of this is a growing stack of cards returned as "Not deliverable as addressed/Unable to forward." The first few that came back as such (after sending the missionaries to confirm the member did not live there) I moved the record to the Finding Lost Members List by moving them out of the ward and checking "no" for "Is the new address known?" It was my understanding that we could then work on the finding lost members checklist from that point.
However, nothing has shown up in the Finding Lost Members list, and those records are no longer showing up in our ward list.
I'm afraid to move any new ones to the list. Any suggestions on A. how to do it correctly, and B. how to find the records I moved to the list and can no longer find?

Re: Finding Lost Members List is Empty
In my experience it takes a few hours for the records moved out to 'address unknown' before they showed up on the Finding Lost Members report. If they do not show up on the report after 24 hours I recommend contacting GSD support.
No need to remember who was moved out - they are listed on the Moved Out report. Just check to see where they were moved in the New Unit column.
