Self-reporting of class attendance on the app?

[marinmckay]

From what I can see this isn’t possible (unless you’re a class teacher or presidency member and have access):

But it would be great if adult members could self-report their own attendance in the app, thus alleviating the responsibility of a secretary or some trying to do so in a very large class during a short 20-25 minute class session.

Perhaps self-recording of attendance might be done only on the day of meetings, and if any historical adjustments need to be made that could be done by the teacher/leaders since they have the ability to make adjustments for the last couple of weeks..?

Just a suggestion— not sure if anyone else might see value (or problems) in making that possible.
