Users deleting own posts

Having a problem with the Forum? Or feedback about the forum? This is the place.

Users deleting own posts

It used to be possible for a user to delete his own post, as long as he did it soon after creating the post. Is that still doable? I can't see any way to do it on this post.

You can't delete the first post of a thread. But if your post is simply a reply to an existing thread, then you can delete your post by clicking the Edit Post link and the clicking the Delete button (there will be no Delete button for the first post of a thread).
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.
