Different calendar and events

Good afternoon,

Is it possible when creating an event/meeting that you can select it to appear on 2 calendars?

Rather than creating an entry twice so it appears on the calenders, link one event to 2 different ones.

The calendar FAQ states that this is not possible http://goo.gl/MQEoq. There was a bit of discussion around this type of feature being part of a future release, but it isn't part of the v2.0 beta calendar. I would also like to see this feature implemented, but it doesn't look like it will come any time soon.
