Today several units reported that they couldn't sign into zoom. After typing in their email address, zoom said, "Having trouble signing in with this email. Please sign in with a different account." I went to meet.churchofjesuschrist.org and sure enough, those licenses were gone (unassigned). Some where still there, but most were gone. I had to request licenses for them again which resulted in a brand new account, so they lost all their pre-scheduled events. Has anyone else had this happen? Any clue as to why this happened, and will it happen again at an inopportune moment?

We have noticed the same problem just now. Most of the accounts for our stake seem to be gone but I don't see a cause yet.

Hi, this is Bryan Carter from the Ottawa Stake. We have had 2 may be 3 accounts go down. Any idea why?

We lost 4 out of our 7 accounts. It's not the end of the world to recreate the accounts, although it is a bit stressful when they are discovered on a Sunday morning as sacrament meeting is about to begin. Hopefully it was just a one-time glitch in the system that zoom and the Church use to coordinate these accounts.

Zoom Account
When I tried to log into the Zoom account that the Church set-up for our ward during the Covid pandemic, after I type my user name and click on "Next", I get the following message: "Having trouble signing in with this email. Please sign in with a different account or create a free account". This occurred in Safari as well as on the Zoom app on my phone. Has the Church canceled our ward Zoom accounts?

Something is going on with the church servers as I can't access meet.churchofjesuschrist.org. I could when I posted my response upthread.

Mine is not an official statement, but this is known to be happening to other units in Canada after August 1, 2025. Engineering teams are looking into it and working on a resolution. Some units have had success re-creating the missing accounts on meet.churchofjesuschrist.org, though that site is having issues today, as well.

How do I fix this issue and regain access to our ward's Zoom account? I logged into meet.churchofjesuschrist.org, but I didn't see an option to re-add an account. Or should we sit tight until the Church fixes this issue?
