Add ISP Info
How to Add ISP Information and Connect it to a Network
Overview
This article explains how to add Internet Service Provider (ISP) information and associate it with networks in Church Network Manager. This functionality is available as a standalone feature and is also useful when working with the Network Status Report.
Adding ISP Information
1. From the Property details page, look for the Internet Services Provider card and select "add network".
2. Enter the required ISP details:
a. Provider name
b. Contracted Download Speed
c. Contracted Upload Speed
3. If desired, click on Extend Information, to enter additional information about the Internet Service Provider contract
4. Save the information and continue with the steps to connect the ISP information to the network
Note: You will need to complete the following steps before this information will appear in the Network Status Report.
Connecting ISP Information to a Network
After adding the ISP information, you'll need to associate it with the appropriate network(s):
1. Navigate to the Network Details Page
2. Find the ISP association section
3. Select the previously added ISP from the available options
4. Save the network
Multiple Networks and ISPs
Some important notes about networks and ISPs:
· A property can have multiple networks
· Each network must be associated with its correct ISP
· ISP information can be used for multiple purposes beyond the Network Status Report
Viewing ISP Information in Reports
The ISP information will appear in the Network Status Report, providing valuable data for network management, troubleshooting, or running reports. This feature can also be accessed from the Network Status Report, by selecting "Assign IP”.
