Approved Equipment List

The Church meetinghouse network consists of 3 devices: One Firewall, at least one managed Switch, and one or more Wireless Access Points. Meraki sensors are also available as optional add-ons. The Church's Information and Communication Systems department has tested and approved the following Meraki equipment for use in a Church meetinghouse network. All of these devices are available in eMarket.

- A high-throughput firewall, for Basic networks (eg meetinghouses, seminaries, and small institutes) that have internet service capable of consistently delivering more than 500Mbps. This firewall will support up to 1Gbps.

- This model lacks an in internal fan. Overheating can cause failure. Only use in properly climate controlled environment.
