The translation glossary is a list of common terms and their preferred translations. This list is limited to technical terms. Do not add non-technical, doctrinal, or scriptural terms to the list.

bit | bit/dígito binario | bit | Binary digit: A single digit number in base-2, in other words, either a 1 or a zero. The smallest unit of computerized data. |
blog | blog/bitácora | Short for "Web log," a blog is basically a journal that is available on the Web. The activity of updating a blog is "blogging" and someone who keeps a blog is a "blogger." Blogs are typically updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical background to update and maintain the blog. | |

bytes | octetos | bytes | A set of bits that represent a single character. Usually there are 8 bits in a byte. |
