Wordly AI Translation & Captions is being tested as part of the AI live interpretation for sacrament meetings pilot. If you are not participating in the pilot, this information will not apply to your local unit.

Setup

  • Your units’ specific Wordly meeting links will be sent to you.
  • Your headquarters contact can easily provide you QR codes upon request. Please just let them know.
  • How To Start a Session (It is highly suggested to do a five-minute test sometime before sacrament meeting starts).

Feedback Surveys Instructions

A key part of the pilot is receiving feedback from those who listened to the interpretation as well as those who setup and prepared the tool for use. Please have everyone share their experience using the survey that applies to their role.

Recordings and Transcripts

Please record each meeting that you are testing an AI interpretation tool. Following the meeting, send the recording and transcript back to your headquarters contact. These will help complete additional analysis on the quality and accuracy of the interpretation.

Recordings

Unfortunately, Wordly does not have a way to record the audio. We would still like you to record the audio from the meeting (even with someone’s phone at the pulpit) and from Wordly (in the various languages members need support for). You can use a feature like Smart Audio Capture (which works in Chrome and Edge) to record the AI audio from Wordly. It may be smart to capture the audio in two or three recordings in order to avoid your browser from crashing. Here’s the link to upload the audio files once you’re finished: https://churchofjesuschrist-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/havertzm_churchofjesuschrist_org/EmfyFiAjPiNKj20Z6SugJt4BaawLFIOq547ZHLffcIcF9w

Transcripts

Headquarters will have the ability to download transcripts so you will not need to upload those.

Support and Troubleshooting
