Adding a Facility or Workforce Zone to a Meraki Firewall

Before You Begin

NOTE: Only add Facility and Workforce zones when there's a specific need for them. Adding zones without a purpose can create unnecessary complexity in your network configuration and wastes IP space.

Key Information
  • As of January 9, 2023, Facility Zones were removed from meetinghouse (MTG) networks that didn't have devices already using them.

Adding a Zone: Step-by-Step

1. Access Church Network Manager

Open your web browser and go to: https://cnm.churchofjesuschrist.org

2. Sign In

Log in with your Church Account username and password.

3. Locate Your Firewall

Search for your firewall using one of the following:

  • Property Number
  • Unit Number
  • Serial Number
4. Select Your Firewall

Click on the serial number of the firewall where you need to add the zone.

5. Open the Menu

Click the Menu icon in the top right corner of the page.

6. Access Zones

Select "Zones" from the menu.

7. Choose Your Zone Type

From the dropdown menu, select either:

  • Facility, or
  • Workforce
8. Complete the Process

Click "Add Zone" to finish.
